The Chair has three training laboratories to organize teaching the students and premises for professors. The training laboratories are well equipped and the learning courses on thermodynamics, energy conservation, renewable energies could be taught there. Also a learning and information computer network is being developed.
The Chair includes International learning and scientific center “Energy Efficiency” which is created under the aegis of the State Committee for Energy Conservation, UNESCO and UNDP with the participation of foreign and Belarusian energy companies. The objective of the center is to attract financial resources of foreign and domestic organizations, companies and enterprises for the modernization of the training facilities.
Scientific and research activities of the professors, postgraduate and undergraduate students are being held in the scientific laboratory "Thermomechanics of Magnetic Fluids" at the UNESCO Chair.
The Chair staff has a very high professional and scientific level. Currently it consists of 2 full professors, 5 associated professors,2 teachers, engineers and technicians.
